A puppy’s most valuable time to be socialized and imprinted on is between the ages of 6 and 16 weeks. This is a crucial time for your puppy to learn manners and common life expectations. Jasper Blues Siberians is now offering extended training services for your puppy. This service includes help with alleviating sleepless nights from early crate training, as well as working on common puppy issues such as puppy biting, chewing and jumping. We will work on basic obedience commands such as sit, down, shake and also continue socializing your puppy which started the day they were born. Your puppy will experience car rides, trips to stores, meet and greet with strangers, including children, second veterinary visit, and meeting with new dogs. Please note that delaying bringing your puppy home for 1-3 additional weeks will have no effect on your bonding time. Your puppy will still bond closely with your family, but will enter your home with a great foundation.
The cost of this program -
1 week of extended training $250
2 weeks of extended training $450
3 weeks of extended training $600 includes second vet visit & vaccine

Regular Boarding of puppies past agreed upon pick up is $20.00/day
Boarding: We offer in home boarding to our past Jasper Blues puppies for $20.00/day per husky. Owners understand we are not a boarding facility and do this to help bring them into a home environment. We supply love, lots of pictures, and lots of husky play time❤️
We do not take pets outside of Jasper Blues Siberians for boarding, this is only offered to our previous pups & their families.

Feedback on Jasper Blues Siberian’s extended training program
Background: Our puppy, Juniper Mochi, participated in Jasper Blues Siberian’s extended training program from 12/22/18 – 1/6/2019 and came home just after 10 weeks old. She is our second Jasper Blues puppy from a Jovi/Micah litter. Our first, Kaya, is from the 2017 litter and came home at 8 weeks old. We chose this option mainly due to our busy schedule during the holidays and first week of January. We didn’t feel it was fair to bring home our puppy and not be able to dedicate the time needed to initial bonding, socializing and training.
Feedback: I would recommend this program to any future puppy owner. The difference between our experience with Kaya at 8 weeks and Juniper at 10 weeks is night and day. Amy and Denny delivered on everything promised – Juniper experienced crate and potty training, basic command training, socialization with other dogs and humans, car rides, one-on-one time/attention and so much more. I was given practically daily updates with pictures and/or videos via private message or through the Jasper Blues Facebook page. All veterinary needs were taken care of during this time as well. I will note it was very difficult to watch others pick up their puppies at 8 weeks and not go get Juniper. However, I think it’s important to understand that we did not get Juniper for the cute puppy stage, but as a lifetime, full-grown family member. It was better for her, and ultimately our family, to go through this extended training as we simply could not dedicate the time up front. Here are a few stand-out benefits we have noted:
Juniper sleeps through the night in her crate (from day one at home). Need I say more? It’s miraculous! Kaya did not sleep through the night until 6 months old. Given we were first time husky owners, we probably didn’t realize if you give an inch, they will take a mile. Amy and Denny’s dedication to and experience with the breed is evident in this crate training.
Potty training is going great! While Juniper excelled at this with Amy and Denny, we do not have a doggy door so it was been a little transition. She does not necessarily tell us yet that she has to go out, but when she is outside, she knows exactly what she is supposed to do (which is great considering it’s the middle of winter!). We are working on bell training as that is what we did with Kaya. Given her crate training, Juniper does not have accidents while confined to her crate. This is especially important as we work outside of the home full-time. It took several months for Kaya to get to the point Juniper is now and we are very thankful for that!
This may seem silly, but Juniper knows her name. I didn’t even consider this benefit when we brought her home. With Kaya, we had to work on getting her to look at us when we called her name. It seems easy enough, but when you want their attention quickly (when they are doing something naughty, eating something they shouldn’t be, getting ready to have an accident, etc), you don’t realize they don’t necessarily respond to their name. It has been really helpful to be able to call out Juniper’s name and have her attention.
Juniper was well socialized with full-grown dogs. I was very nervous about how Kaya would interact with Juniper as she plays quite rough. While Juniper was scared at first, within a couple hours she was already getting used to Kaya. Within 48 hours, they were playing constantly. It’s exactly what we hoped for.
Overall, the transition from one Jasper Blues Siberian Husky to two has been seamless. I firmly believe Juniper would not be as well-adjusted and advanced in her training should she have come home at 8 weeks old. We have had no issues with bonding with her even after her time at Jasper Blues. As previously mentioned, all members of the Junes family are experts on this breed and truly understand the unique needs and behaviors they demonstrate. I know the members of the Junes family formed a bond with Juniper and were sad to let her go, but knowing how loved and well cared for she was in their home comforted me while waiting for her to come home. Thank you, Junes family, for such a beautiful addition to our family.
Sincerely,
The Hazel Family
